SOVA is an independent fine jewellery studio founded by architect and designer Clare Murphy.

Working primarily in solid 9ct gold, SOVA creates pieces that are tactile, dimensional and visibly handmade. The warmth, strength and colour of 9ct gold make it ideal for jewellery designed to be worn often, while the signature frosted finish gives each piece its softly weathered character.

Nothing is designed in isolation. Clasps, talismans, gemstone strands, rings and handpieces form part of a wider system. They are made to be layered, rearranged and added to over time.

You will not find generic findings, flat forms or factory-perfect surfaces. Every piece retains evidence of the hand, the flame and the making process. Organic lines, molten details and subtle irregularities ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike.

SOVA jewellery carries meaning and material weight without taking itself too seriously. It is precious, but never boring. Made to mark an occasion, become part of your everyday life or simply celebrate the decision to choose something for yourself.

About Clare

Clare trained and worked as an architect + interior designer before founding SOVA. After a lifetime spent studying design, materials and proportion, she began translating that architectural thinking into objects worn on the body.

Each piece is created with intention: to feel individual, empowering and personal to the woman wearing it.
